Ecowas Needs Gadaffi In Mali?

The Occam’s principal of parsimony says that the simple explanations are the always the best explanations. It follows that if Tuareg rebels were not there the instability in Mali would not have been the future that optimists and enthusiasts about Africa are victims of. If they were me, I would have not come to terms with the disillusionment. Perhaps we Africans create our own problems and then wallow in them without an idea of even solving them. Let’s wander off into a future with Gadaffi and without the threat of the Tuareg rebels.

This means there will be no scapegoat for the coup in Mali, no need for Ecowas to exacerbate problems by harsh policies, Malian’s will not suffer a higher cost of living but Libyan’s will be denied their freedom. Which is better, the peace for West Africa or the freedom of Libyan’s?  Currently is there freedom in Libya? I think that we need Emmanuel Jal (South Sudanese musician) due to his cravings for peace. Peace here can be attained by the resignation that a right to freedom is just the same as the security of the individual and none is preferable to other. There should be a common desire for peace in the long run without jeopardising the common feeling for fairness and justice. We definitely do not need a Gadaffi neither do we need another Sudan in Mali. What are your thoughts?
